I really had to dedicate one episode of lemonade to the internet. It has completely changed my life from sad to glad. Okay, it's not that serious, however it is.
Of course I not only work from home with it. I also continue to research and find the endless possibilities that it helps to bring about.
One being craigslist.com. Basically this is the place to be if you've got anything that you want to buy or sale. Why ever pay full price for anything else again? And we're not talking worn out stuff - of course that's there too. There are many people that are better off than I that either buy something new and feel it doesn't serve them well a few days later, or take care of what they do have extremely well. So if you don't mind lurking around for awhile for what your heart is desiring most...whether it be a man, a friend, a table or a car...you can find it on Craigslist. I've bought a car, a tv, a washer & dryer, a bed and met many a man. I've also sold alot of things and gotten a client and several bites for my business. I'm starting to think I would go mad and sick at the same time if anything ever happened to my beloved.
Of course then there is Perez, the gossip gang"star" who fills my days with endless entertainment, and he keeps it coming on an hourly basis, the latest magazine of People could never do that. Neither would they ever purposefully offend anyone by commenting on what was their minds about someone or something.
Oh yeh...and anyone up for some used books, shop your heart out at amazon.com. Can't beat a book for two bucks, five with shipping and never having to leave your house to fight the traffic and crowds...sweet.
Of course there are down sides to internet, like too easily accessible porn or poker that can end marriages or leave you doing nothing but selling on Craigslist. And easy come, easy go when you network and connect with others - not like you ever have to worry about a disapproving face for not returning an email ever again.
Overall, I'm "attached" to my keyboard and screen. No person with a human heart could ever replace her. The anticipation that she helps to provide with not knowing who's going to be an email or click away. The possibility that she brings with all her methods to quickly shorten any task at hand...and reading material, she teaches me all that I could ever want to know and then some. She loves and invests in me like a loyal friend and provider should. As long as I can afford cable access, life is good :)
the sweet and the sour...
